Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 November 2026
This policy explains how Velko Group LLC, doing business as Jotplum (“we”, “us”), handles personal information when you visit https://www.jotplum.com, request access, or use the product. A postal address is available on request at hello@jotplum.com.
Who we are
Velko Group LLC is the controller of personal information described here. Jotplum is the name of the product. Providing account details is required to open a workspace. You do not have to connect a social network, and the publishing features for that network will not work until you do.
Information we collect
- Account details. Name, email address, workspace name and role when you join a workspace.
- Business content. Brand details, captions, media, approval comments, calendar plans and the drafts you ask the product to write.
- Connected networks. Access tokens and profile details from Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok or LinkedIn when you connect an account, so we can publish and read replies you ask for. You can disconnect an account in the product. Content already published on that network stays there until you remove it on the network.
- Usage and device data. IP address, browser type, pages viewed and diagnostics needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
- Billing. Our payment processor collects card details. We store the customer and subscription identifiers, plan, invoices and credit balances, not the full card number.
How we use it
- To run your workspace, drafts, approvals, scheduled posts, inbox and reports.
- To send a draft to an AI processor when you ask for one, and to show you the result.
- To publish, or fetch, only what you ask for on a network you connected.
- To take payment, keep a credit balance, and detect failed or disputed charges.
- To keep the service secure and to answer a support request.
- To send email you would reasonably expect about access, billing, or a change to these terms.
- To meet a legal or accounting duty.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your content to train a Jotplum model. We send it to the processors below only to provide the feature you asked for.
Who receives it
These processors receive the information they need for the job named. They are not allowed to use it for their own advertising.
- Database and file host. Accounts, workspace content and files. Hosted in the United States.
- Website host. Hosting of the website and the application. Processing in the United States.
- Card processor. Card payments, subscriptions and invoices.
- AI drafting service. Captions, plans and, when selected, graphics. The prompt and the relevant brand context are sent so the draft can be written.
- Image renderer. Graphics, when that option is on for a workspace.
- Publishing and inbox service. Publishing and inbox access for the networks you connect, including the tokens those connections need.
- The social networks you connect. The post, the account, and the permission you gave.
- Teammates and reviewers you invite. The workspace content their role allows them to see.
The company names for the hosts and services above are available on request at hello@jotplum.com. We update that list when a processor changes.
Some of these processors store data in the United States. Where a transfer out of your country needs a safeguard, we rely on the processor’s contract terms, including standard contractual clauses where they offer them. We also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account and workspace data while the account is active. You can delete your account in Settings. That closes every workspace you pay for, removes you from workspaces you were invited to, and deletes or anonymises the personal data those steps cover. We keep invoices and other billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Posts already sent to a social network stay on that network.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your personal information, a correction, deletion, or a limit on how we use it, and you can object to a use based on our legitimate interest in running the service. You can complain to a privacy regulator, including the Office of the Information Commissioner in Jamaica if that law applies to you, or the regulator in your own country. Email hello@jotplum.com. We may need to confirm it is you before we act.
California residents can ask for the categories of personal information we collect and the categories of third parties we disclose it to. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. This section is a description of the request we will honour. It is not a statement that every California threshold applies to us.
Security
We protect credentials and content in transit and at rest with industry-standard controls. No method of storage is completely secure. Use a strong password and disconnect networks you no longer need.
Children
Jotplum is not directed at anyone under 16, and a person must be at least 18 to accept the Terms of Use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Cookies
Sign-in and security use essential cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will change the date above and, when practical, say so in the product or by email.
